Job Description

The NOC Engineer will monitor IT infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure continuous uptime. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, adherence to ITIL processes, and teamwork in a fast-paced offshore environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor networks and servers using SolarWinds, Splunk, and Zabbix.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 issues (e.g., latency, downtime, connectivity).
  • Escalate critical incidents promptly to higher support tiers.
    Document tickets in ServiceNow/JIRA. 
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base for recurring issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in NOC or technical support.
  • Hands-on knowledge of routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper).
  • Strong skills in Windows and Linux administration.
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python preferred).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.
